There are several basic sizes of storage units. Below is a quick-reference guide of the sizes Beech Street Storage offers to help you plan what size unit you will need for your personal or business items.
5′ x 10′ (50 sq. ft.) – This storage unit is the size of a standard walk-in closet. Will hold furnishings of a mid-size bedroom, including a queen-size bed, dresser, TV, and a few storage boxes. Ideal for seasonal items.
8’ x 12’ (96 sq. ft.) – This storage unit can accommodate 3 rooms of items or two full bedrooms. Ideal for decluttering while staging your home.
10′ x 10′ (100 sq. ft.) – This storage unit has space equivalent to ½ of a standard one car garage and will hold the contents of an entire family room or two full bedrooms.
5′ x 25′ (125 sq. ft.) – This unit size is great for storing the contents of a studio apartment or small condo.
10′ x 25′ (250sq. ft.) – This storage unit will hold the contents of a five-bedroom house, including a refrigerator, washer/dryer, dining room table, chairs, and large boxes. Ideal for car storage.
Business Items
